I have been on a whirlwind journey around the world since graduating from Paris National Superior Conservatoire (CNSM) in 2003.
After spending years touring internationally as a performer and as a teacher for choreographers like Emanuel Gat, Ohad Naharin & Hofesh Shechter,
I am now focusing my teaching on reconnecting dancers and non-dancers to the Body & the Mind.

The aim is to help gain Strength, Knowledge and Control of the Body but also help reconnect to a sense of Playfulness/Enjoyment, Creative Freedom and Harmony through Movement.

I am extremely interested in People and in Individualities.
I believe that in order to become a strong performer, you need to get a deep and honest sense of yourself.
Of your individuality.
Of your own colour.

I would like to inspire each individual to break ingrained patterns, seek a better understanding of themselves and find a singular and honest expression born out of styles, filters and contexts.

The classes

A Spiritual, Physical and Musical journey

With a focus on Breathing, Relaxation and Meditation, the start of the class aims to physically and mentally soften in order to gain self awareness and develop a higher state of consciousness.
Using imagery and imagination to expand our understanding and sensations, we will then go on a complex exploration of qualities, energies, textures and musicality.
Constantly shifting from a place of total control to a place of letting go, we will try to understand how a perfect balance can be found between controlled/uncontrolled movements and conscious/unconscious choices.

The class finishes on a richly detailed dance phrase that will help us to understand how these fundamentals can be applied to any movement technique or any type of performance work.

Music being the Guide all along.

I adapt my classes to a varied range of abilities:
Company classes, Professional dancers to Non-Dancers workshops, Youth workshops and Community work.
